Game Promotion Instructions

This page contains the instructions for the promotion of the online web-based shockwave 3d game, Lilly Bloom.  My goal is to increase traffic to the site.

Initially, I am just looking to build a list of gaming websites that might post a link to Lilly Bloom on their site.  The first step is to build this list of target sites.  Later, I'll go through the list of sites myself and fill out the submission forms in the hopes that the sites will post a link to http://www.lillybloom.com/ .  The list should contain the full url to the "Add Game" or "Suggest Game" submission form.

Here are the requirements for the target gaming websites:

• Must be a gaming website that lists Flash or Shockwave online games (as opposed to hosting exclusively downloadable .exe games)
• Sites must accept links (as opposed to requiring that the Flash .swf or Shockwave .dcr be uploaded to their site)
• Alexa rank is less than 1,000,000 (the Alexa toolbar displays Alexa rank).
• Site is in English (I'm only able to read English)
• Target sites must not require that I add a link back to their site on Lilly Bloom.
• Site must not be on the list of sites that I already have (see below)
• Site must accept single-player games.

Tips to find target sites:

• Google search "submit game" or "suggest game" or "add game"
• Many online gaming sites have a list of other game sites on their site.  This list is usually title "Our Friends" or something similiar to that.  Checking those sites is a good way to find additional target sites.
